With the dust settling on summer sports in the Maryborough district, Goldfields Playing Area teams will be looking to focus on the 2023-24 season.

Highland White will move up to division one thanks to their thrilling premiership victory in division two over Carisbrook in early March.
Highland Red fought out the season having had a fierce battle to avoid relegation with Newstead Blue, but ultimately missed out on ensuring their division one status by just five points.
It followed a great finals series in all three divisions in lawn bowls, with Highland Tartan and Highland White winning the division one and two Saturday pennants, while Dunolly Blue claimed a thrilling midweek pennant title.
