It wasn’t an ideal day for Carisbrook, as second-placed Darley were able to take a 191-point victory.

The Devils kicked 12 goals to none in the first half to lead by 75 points at the main break, before adding another 18 goals to just one behind in the second half.

It meant that Darley won 30.12 (192) to 0.1 (1).

Best players for Carisbrook were not provided at the print deadline.

There is some better news on the way for the Lady Redbacks, with their first game at home since the clubrooms were rebuilt set to be played next week as they host reigning premier Redan.

That followed the under 16s playing the first game at home for the season — which resulted in a big victory against Lake Wendouree. More information to come in Friday’s edition.
