Ballarat had one of the highest rates of new cases in the state, with 29 new cases and 108 active.
Greater Bendigo had 86 active.
While more than 95 percent of Central Goldfields Shire residents have had their first and second doses of the vaccine, 80.6 percent have had three jabs, and only 55 percent have had four.
The Pyrenees Shire is slightly behind with 78.8 percent of residents receiving their third dose and 51.7 percent their fourth.
Figures show 84.2 percent of Mount Alexander Shire residents have received a third jab, and 58.2 percent a fourth.
Hepburn’s vaccination rates were almost exactly the same as Central Goldfields while Loddon was slightly behind on the third (76.5 percent) and fourth (46.4 percent) doses.
You can have your booster dose six months after your last dose or COVID infection.
