Six groups from across the country gathered at the Maryborough Harness Racing Club last weekend to discuss the upcoming Weekend With Hooks event, set to take place on September 29 and 30. The event will celebrate Aussie actor Roger Ward, known for his role as Fifi in Mad Max as well as the character Hooks in the movie Stone. The weekend is set to feature non-stop live music, a memorial ride, Mad Max vehicles, market stalls, a show and shine and everything in between.
