The Pyrenees Mental Health and Wellbeing Network’s Walking for Mental Health event saw 50 people come together from as far as Geelong for a four kilometre walk around Avoca on March 26.
The walk was aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing in farming communities by coming together and taking part in low-impact exercise.
Following the walk, participants heard a talk from local and mental health advocate Rick Corney, and a free breakfast cooked by the Avoca Football Netball Club.

3. Participants placed pebbles at a tree with words of encouragement.
