The new Maryborough Skate and Scooter Park was officially launched on Sunday with plenty of fanfare and activities — including a ribbon cutting with Central Goldfields Shire mayor Grace La Vella (third from left) and Member for Ripon Martha Haylett (fourth from left).
The park was a priority project for council, with more than 1000 people signing a petition to get the ball rolling.
