The Probus Club of Maryborough dropped off a collection of donated items to The Maryborough Salvation Army this week as part of the Salvo’s reverse advent calendar appeal.
The Probus club’s Heather Lockhart and Earl Ellis presented the donation to local Salvos captain Ron Stobie — the initiative focuses on filling up boxes with food and treats each day instead of taking something out as is the case with a traditional advent calendar, with the donations to be distributed to those in need.
