Maryborough’s weekly parkrun event has gone from strength to strength since it launched back in 2019. Parkrun events are held every Saturday at 8 am across the country, with the local runheld at the Goldfields Reservoir.
Participants can walk or run five kilometres (three laps) of thereservoir with times recorded by parkrun.
Last Saturday’s Goldfield Reservoir parkrun had a Christmas in July theme and celebrated themilestones of local Rhonda Forster, who completed her 50th parkrun and her son Scobie Parker who ticked off his 250th.
Janette McQueen also completed her 50th event.
