You may have noticed camera crews around Maryborough over the past few weeks in workplaces, venues like the Highland Society and down High Street as filming got underway for a documentary being made on council’s Welcome to Central Goldfields pilot project.
The project is aimed at attracting skilled migrants to the Central Goldfields Shire, addressing staff shortages and promoting a younger, more culturally diverse community over time.
Filming will continue over the coming months so expect to see cameras around town until early January.
