Six hard working locals were recognised for their efforts and contributions in their workplaces last Thursday at Maryborough Rotary Club’s Pride of Workmanship Awards night.
The award covers all aspects of work performance and ethics, including quality and quantity of output, safety, initiative, and a sense of responsibility. This year in particular, the focus was on employees who have consistently demonstrated the sense of responsibility to do a job well in their employment area during the COVID-19 period.
The six employees were nominated by their workplaces and awarded at the Maryborough Highland Society last week, joined by Central Goldfields Shire mayor Grace La Vella (second from left) and Member for Ripon Martha Haylett (fifth from left).
The awardees from left to right were Sue Ellen Wright (Newsxpress), Julie Driscoll (Avoca District Community Bank), Kelly Mason (Bounce), Kylie Monk (MDHS, absent, received on her behalf), Julie Nicholson (Rinaldis Fashion, absent, received on her behalf) and Matthew Doherty (The Little Produce Box).
