Seven Maryborough Girl Guide members headed off to the Kani-Karrung Jamboree this week — Allison and Elizabeth Lewington, Harriet Thoroughgood, Vivienne Wilkinson and Belinda Pritchard, plus (absent from photo) Alaqua Browning and Flora Campbell-Wright.
The Jamboree is a week-long (January 15-21) Girl Guide event which sees hundreds of Guides come together for activities and survival challenges.
The local Guides and leaders were able to attend the day thanks to support from the Maryborough Rotary Club, Maryborough Red Cross and the Girrahween Trefoil Guild.
