Community members including Kristy Trease, Bec Ettridge and Izzy Komatsu gathered at the Supreme Court Bar and Restaurant on Thursday for an inaugrual networking night aimed at connecting new residents with other locals, groups and each other.
The networking group plans to continue hosting regular networking nights, and liase with council and services to find ways to support new residents. The group can be found by searching Networking Maryborough on Facebook.
The night was organised by local Teresa Holmes (centre) and supported by councillors Liesbeth Long and Anna De Villiers.
