Clunes Show returns tomorrow
Clunes Show 2025 promises everything from magic, music, festivities, and the return of some fan favourites this Saturday.

Far from their humble beginnings as a ploughing match in 1860, the Clunes Show is back with something for everyone at tomorrow’s event.
Attendees can expect everything from magic, music, festivities, and the return of some fan favourites this Saturday, November 15.
A flourish of the hand, the sure-fire sign of magic, will come from comedy musician Scott Stunz on the main stage between 12 and 3 pm.
When he’s not on the stage, there will also be roving balloon animals for the whole family to enjoy.
While the horse area is always a buzz of activity there’ll be a return sight this year with Clydesdales, joined by the Sandy Creek Clydesdales, making a comeback from 1 pm.
The role of animals in this country show doesn’t stop at the horses. Attendees are welcome to bring anything other than a horse for the ‘Big Ones, Tall Ones, Small Ones, Really Tiny and Slimy Fun Pet Show’ being judged at 1 pm.
There’s also Wicked Wildlife, pony rides and ferret racing throughout the day.
None of which can overshadow the livestock competitions and judging.
Local musicians will keep the main stage humming with soloist Caylee Jane and the Wesley College student band in the morning and the Ballan Community Street Band at lunchtime.
The Bute Ute competition, with entries taken until 11.30 am on showday, will be fun for the big kids while carnival fun including a giant sandpit will entertain the smaller ones.
The homecraft pavilion will be filled with home cookery, floral displays, art, photography and much more.
Competition entries have already closed for most sections, but people are invited to enjoy the sights.
The schedule can be found on their website at clunesshow.com.au.
Admission for adults is $20 while kids under 16 can enter free.
