The match between Beaufort and Clunes, which was scheduled for tomorrow, has been moved to next Saturday and Sunday thanks to the bushfire threat that was present over the last week.
The game will be played on March 9 and 10 at Goldfields Reserve, potentially determining who finishes in the top two.
The game’s postponement is due to the Bayindeen fire which had been burning over the last week, but was contained as of Thursday afternoon, with the threat reduced.
It means that all three meetings between the two teams have been vastly different than originally scheduled, with the round two meeting played at Ron Sinclair Oval and the standalone round eight game washed out.
