It was the fifth victory in a row for Carisbrook as they are taking all before them since their round four loss to Talbot.

The Redbacks have moved into top position on the ladder, just ahead of Natte-Bealiba on percentage.

At half time, they were having some trouble putting the Bulldogs away and only led by 17 points, but they made up for lost time in the second half, kicking eight goals to the Bulldogs one.

Jackson Bowen is having a stellar season, leading the way for the Redbacks and linking up with Todd Bryant who had plenty of ball from the middle.

Others to be named as the better players were Nick Wright, who is back fit and healthy after a serious injury last season.

Tim Rinaldi added another five goals to his goalkicking tally and is just two goals behind Trentham’s James Regan in the MCDFNL goalkicking charts.

Angus McKinna and Mitch Treacy were others to play well for the Redbacks.

Byron Wynd made a welcome return to the Bulldogs from a hamstring injury and he was named the Bulldogs best player.

Tyson Gray, Darcy Carey, Scott Cawthan, Alex Riches and Riley Hamilton also played well for the Bulldogs with Jason Hunt kicking two goals.
