A dominant first half display was all the ammunition Carisbrook needed to continue their winning ways, taking a 76-point win over Maldon.
The Redbacks burst out of the blocks in the early stages, kicking six goals to one in the first quarter, before adding a further three goals to one in the second to effectively wrap up the contest by half time, sitting 46 points up.
Maldon had an excellent third quarter as they tried to limit the damage, with both teams kicking three goals apiece, but it was still Carisbrook leading by 51 points at the final break, and a further five goals to one in the last quarter helped the Redbacks take a big victory in the end.
Anthony Zelencich broke through the 50-goal barrier for the season by kicking seven goals for the Redbacks, and he was joined in the best players by Zak Rinaldi, Nathan Curtis, Nicholas Wright, Andrew Toan and Michael Zelencich.
Brodie Leonard-Shannon made the most of limited opportunities for Maldon, kicking three goals for the afternoon, while Cody Gunn kicked two. Joining them in the best players for the Dons were Jordon Collins, Patrick Long, Max Johns and Adam Robinson.
