Royal Park have got their season back on track, taking their first win of the season courtesy of a 32-goal win over Talbot.

A strong start was the catalyst for Bushy, as they leveraged a 14-goal to four opening stanza to open up a 10-goal lead at the first break, before scoring another 14 goals to the Hawks’ nine goals to extend the lead to 15 goals by the main break.

Talbot enjoyed their best quarter in the third quarter, scoring seven goals while holding Royal Park to 13 for the quarter, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Bushy from extending their lead to 21 by the last break.

Sixteen goals to five gave Bushy a comfortable win which allows them to get back in touch with the top eight.

The goal circle combination of Abbey Devereaux and Jess Egan were at their best throughout the afternoon, with Devereaux scoring 31 goals and Egan adding 26.

For Talbot, Dom Roche was their best option in the paint, scoring 17 goals, while sister Stella added eight.
