Grading games will start with under 14 and under 17 girls, as well as senior women taking to the court on Tuesday, October 4, while under 14 and under 16 boys, as well as senior men will begin their campaign on Wednesday, October 5.

On Friday, October 7, under 10 boys and girls will be partaking in skills and games, while grading games for under 12 girls and boys will also take place.

Registration is now open for under 10s, 12s and 14s, with costs for all juniors amounting to $40, with senior registration costing $60.

The Noel Pollerd Shield will also be contested for the first time since 2019, with the Maryborough Basketball Association looking to match their haul of 20 participating teams from that year, divided into two divisions.

Schools that participated back in 2019 included Avoca, Carisbrook, Dunolly, the Maryborough Education Centre, Pyrenees Cluster, Talbot, Timor and St Augustines.
