Avoca showed their class in dispatching of Navarre by 36 goals, with a showstopping first half doing much of the damage.
The Bulldogs got off to a fast start in the opening term, scoring 17 goals to seven to take a comfortable lead going into the first change, but went into overdrive in the second to end the contest, scoring 21 goals to just six to give the Bulldogs a 25-goal lead at the main break.
Avoca continued on their merry way in the third quarter, scoring 13 goals to eight to extend the lead to 30 goals, before finishing with 14 goals to eight to eventually win comfortably.
The Maddy Egan/Gina Beavis goal circle combination was again at its best, with Egan scoring on 33 occasions and Beavis scoring 32, while Darcy Crawford was Navarre’s leading goalscorer, scoring 22 for the afternoon.
