The weather may have turned wintry this week, but Central Goldfields Shire’s autumn school holiday program is set to brighten up the shire in April.

The local gallery, library and youth team have put their heads together to create the autumn holiday program, with free activities running across Maryborough and Dunolly.

The program runs from April 11-23 and some of the activities include a skate park road trip — a bus tour of skate parks around the region — a day of activities on April 13 featuring disc golf, bubble craft sessions at the Maryborough and Dunolly libraries and a free movie session at Paramount Theatre to see The Super Mario Bros Movie on April 23.

A big feature of the April program is a magical bubble performance by clown and prop based comedian Tim Tim at the Maryborough and Dunolly libraries.

The Maryborough District Advertiser’s own Goldfields Getaway magazine also appears on the school holiday program with a scavenger hunt on Page 53.
