CARISBROOK (58) def ROYAL PARK (22)

Carisbrook are just two games away from an undefeated home and away season, taking care of Royal Park by 36 goals for a second-consecutive meeting.

The margin matches their round one efforts, although Royal Park did provide much more resistance this time around, before the class of Carisbrook took over.

A good opening term for Royal Park showed that they were up for the contest, as they were able to hold Carisbrook to 11 goals, while scoring five themselves.

But it was the second term where the Redbacks assumed control, scoring 17 goals to three to ensure Bushy wouldn’t have a sniff of an upset, leading by 20 goals at the main break.

Carisbrook continued to control the pace, scoring another 16 goals to seven in the third quarter to extend their lead to 29 goals at the final change, before scoring 14 goals to seven to finish the game.

Andrea Schafer scored 37 goals for the winners, with Paige McLean adding 21, while for Royal Park, Abbey Devereaux and Jess Egan scored 11 goals apiece.
