Natte Bealiba have kept the pressure on ladder-leading Avoca with a strong 47-goal triumph over Maldon.
The Swans were never headed all day and realistically put the game to bed after a powerful opening quarter display which yielded 20 goals to six.
The Bombers were able to respond a little bit in the second quarter with their strongest output of 10 goals, but they were unable to prevent Natte from extending their margin to 22 goals at the main break.
Natte again extended the margin in the third quarter as they scored 21 goals to the Bombers’ nine to lead by 34 goals at three-quarter-time.
The final quarter saw the Swans again score 20 goals, underlining their scoring power, while restricting Maldon to just seven goals, eventually taking a 79-32 victory.
Naomi Medlyn, Shannae Mills and Melissa Oliver were named the Swans’ best for the day, with Oliver scoring an outstanding 73 goals in a virtuoso performance.
For Maldon, Morgan Walker, Meg Tong and Katie Tong were named their best, with Alexandra Cummins their leading goalscorer with 16.
