Blood bank coming to town this month
One in three people in Maryborough will need blood during their lives, and now is the chance to give back as the Mobile Blood Donor Centre winds its way into town. One blood donation can save up to three lives and is used to help those with cancer...
One in three people in Maryborough will need blood during their lives, and now is the chance to give back as the Mobile Blood Donor Centre winds its way into town.
One blood donation can save up to three lives and is used to help those with cancer and blood diseases, heart surgeries, pregnant women, new mothers and young children, and people who have been in road incidents and other trauma.
The mobile blood donor bus will be in Maryborough next week on:
• Monday, January 30 from 1 pm to 6 pm
• Tuesday, January 31 from 12.30 pm to 7.30 pm
• Wednesday, February 1 from 1 pm to 7.30 pm
• Thursday, February 2 from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
• Friday, February 3 from 7.45 am to 1.30 pm.
The bus will be located at the grand stand area of Princes Park off Park Road.
