An Avoca man has tragically died following an incident on Monday, where it’s believed he suffered a medical episode while using a ride-on-lawnmower that entered a dam.
It’s understood the incident occurred at around 10.30 am in Avoca on Monday, where the man in his 60s had been mowing lawn before the mower veered into the dam.
It’s believed the man suffered from a medical episode and lost consciousness prior to the mower entering the water and was found by a family member.
In a statement, Ambulance Victoria said paramedics were called to the incident and the man was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
The man sadly later died.
