Avoca land yet another win for season 2025
Avoca have powered home to another commanding victory, this time at the cost of Lexton.

The Bulldogs slotted their third consecutive win of the season on Saturday, once again signalling their finals intentions for season 2025.
The Doggies hit the ground running in the first, goaling 20 times to the visiting Lexton’s eight to etch out a 12-goal lead.
Returning for the second quarter, the home side Avoca continued to power in front, adding 13 goals to the Lexton Tigers’ seven, increasing the margin out to 18 goals.
Returning from the half time whistle, it seemed the match was a done deal as Avoca continued its high scoring play, increasing its lead out to 24 goals — an all but unachievable task for the best of sides.
Morale was low for the visiting Lexton side, as they watched Avoca goal another 14 times to their five in the final quarter to round out the match — with Avoca finishing the day with 62 goals to Lexton’s 29 — a comprehensive 33-goal margin.
Avoca’s Maddy Egan was once again electric under the ring, shooting at 84 percent accuracy to goal a whopping 42 times and was well supported by offsider Gina Beavis who scored 20 of her own.
Pressure was high for Lexton, with the visitors’ three avenues to goal, Celeste Lean, Leesa Donhardt and Anna Parry unable to crack a 60 percent conversion rate, scoring seven, 10 and 12 respectively.
