Summer at the Central Goldfields Gallery
1 min read

Families can enjoy the cool climate of the Central Goldfields Gallery  on a hot summer day with free hands-on art activities for children as well as many artworks to discover.

Two of the exhibitions on over summer are: Echo in the Hollow – new drawings by Tiffany Titshall, a local artist from Majorca, whose drawings are inspired by the biyal, the Dja Dja Wurrung word for River Red Gums; and LOVE – a diverse range of artwork that explores the multiplicity of love through visual arts. The LOVE exhibition also includes some of Wal Richards’ wedding photos from the Maryborough Midlands Historical Society’s collection.

Central Goldfields Art Gallery is in the Old Fire Station, 1 Neill Street, Maryborough. The Gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, and entry is free.
