A taste of decadence
1 min read

The team at Whisky June continue to offer locals and visitors to the region the best in luxury with a touch of decadence in the goldfields.

Both of Whisky June’s accommodation options – Gilbert and his slightly-naughty sister Ruby – have proved a hit with guests. Centrally located, both homes invite guests to experience the glamour and decadence of the gold rush days in contemporary style.

Just a short walk from both homes is Whisky June’s Station Café. The café has quickly cemented its reputation as a destination restaurant, with breakfast, lunch and dinner (on Friday and Saturday nights), as well as special pop-up live-music events throughout the month.

Whisky June’s dining offering has moved up another notch with the opening of the grand Chandelier Room. The luxurious private dining room in the former Station Master Lounge offers exclusive dining for up to 25 guests with various menu options from head chef Chris MacGregor.

On select Sunday afternoons high tea is served, including delicious house made pastries, petits-fours and sandwiches as well as a selection of teas served in elegant gold teapots and a glass of bubbles.

Keep an eye on the Whisky June website for the Chandelier Room’s Degustation Dining dates. The Saturday evening dining experience includes a multiple-course, specially curated culinary journey featuring local produce and suppliers, with optional matching wines.
