Shire’s death rate second highest in Victoria, report

The Central Goldfields Shire had one of the highest death rates in the country in 2018 a new report has revealed, but an ageing population and a high rate of chronic disease could go a long way to explaining the figures according to Mary- borough District Health Service director of clinical services Nickola Allan.
