The Pyrenees Shire has recorded a new case of COVID-19, the latest Department of Health and Human Services data has confirmed.
The shire was COVID-free during the first months of the pandemic, recording its first case on August 2.
The Pyrenees now has a total of three cases, one of which is active.
Across Victoria there were 149 new cases confirmed today, bringing the state's total to 18,608 — 3488 of which are active.
The Central Goldfields Shire has not recorded any changes in COVID cases today. The shire has had a total of two cases, one of which is active.
Mount Alexander, Hepburn and Loddon currently have no active cases.
