A man aged in his 70s escaped serious injury this week when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree in Carisbrook.
Police, ambulance, CFA and SES crews attended the single-car crash which occurred at around midday on Wednesday.

“The vehicle has come off the road and hit a tree, flipping onto its roof,” she said.
“There was a dog in the car but he’s fine, we checked him over and he wasn’t even shaking.”
The man was taken to a Ballarat hospital with minor injuries.
Con Barkway said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
