The Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League (MCDFNL) has further delayed a decision on season 2020 after the State Government tightened restrictions at the weekend.
The league had scheduled a presidents meeting this week, coinciding with the latest restrictions announcement, however the unforeseen roll back on public gathering numbers has put the discussion on hold.
Junior sport, which has been a main priority for the MCDFNL, remains unchanged with under 18s permitted to start contact training and competition play.
In a letter obtained by The Advertiser, the MCDFNL stated that the changes are unlikely to affect junior sport, but could impact senior football and netball.
