Dunolly resident Marion Da Costa has announced herself as candidate for the Flynn Ward in the upcoming Central Goldfields Shire Council elections.
A Dunolly resident for 17 years, Ms Da Costa is the first resident to officially announce their candidacy for the October council elections.
Having been involved in a number of local organisations, projects and groups including the Dunolly Hospital Auxiliary, Dunolly Historical Precinct Committee, community transport and Dunolly Football Netball Club, Ms Da Costa said she looks forward to advocating for the community.
“I am nominating as a candidate in Flynn Ward because I want council to deliver for everyone in our community and I will represent your voice with hard work and honesty,” she said.
