The Maryborough District Cricket Association (MDCA) will kick off its senior representative campaign with a Kenmac Shield Clash against the Grampians Cricket Association this Sunday.
The MDCA was scheduled to kick off its duties against Castlemaine back in December, however the two associations decided to use their Bendigo Country Week game later this month to achieve a result for both competitions.
That game will instead be played in Castlemaine on Monday, January 20 at Wesley Hill.
This weekend, the MDCA and their Grampians counterparts will take to the Carisbrook Recreation Reserve to kick 2020 senior representative cricket into gear.
The Grampians won their home game against the Grenville Cricket Association back in December and a second win against the MDCA this weekend would take them a long way towards winning the division two title for the first time in quite a few seasons.
Having won the Kenmac division twice in the past four years, the MDCA are keen to remain on the winners list.
