The Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League’s (MCDFNL) executive committee has remained largely the same for season 2020.
The AGM of the MCDFNL was held late last year with elections conducted for the upcoming 2020 season.
Six of seven members of the 2019 MCDFNL executive committee were re-elected, with 2019 MCDFNL vice president Troy Adams the only exception.
Maldon FNC president Jamie Cox will take his place on the committee after a ballot from the clubs determined the positions.
In a statement, the MCDFNL thanked Adams for his contribution to the league over his years of service.
Stephen Broad will again serve the league as president while Dennis Hedger, Kaylene Rayner and Cox were all named as vice presidents.
Katrina Turner maintains the role of netball president while Kylie Richardson and Brendan Birch stay on board as junior football development officers.
MCDFNL operations manager Matt Lindsay said he is pleased with the league’s current position.
“It’s great to see that the league remains in great hands and has maintained a strong financial position again in 2019,” he said.
“We will all certainly miss Troy’s insights, experience and leadership as the MCDFNL’s vice president, but we are looking forward to working with Jamie who has a wealth of knowledge and skills in community football and will offer a lot for the league at executive level moving forward.
