Colts and Beaufort chasing much-needed wins

Beaufortʼs Blake Jantzen plays a leg side shot during his sideʼs clash with Clunes at the weekend.

The chance to claim a win hasn’t come along very often for bottom of the ladder sides Colts Phelans and Beaufort, making the clash between them a must win for both clubs.

Beaufort and Colts didn’t get a chance to meet in one-day due to a wash out, however both teams have claimed just one win this season, with Beaufort defeating Avoca in round two and Colts winning over MKM in round four, suggesting the game could be a close one.

It’s been a long time between drinks for both sides and this round presents one of the last chances to get a mark in the win column.

After this round Colts have just two other games left for 2019/20, with the bye next round, MKM in round 13 and top of the ladder side Laanecoorie Dunolly awaiting in the 14th and final round.

The Crows unfortunately have to front up against Maryborough, Laanecoorie and Avoca in the coming months making this game with Colts an extremely important venture.
