Four of the five Maryborough District Tennis Association A grade teams came up trumps in the latest round of cross-over games against the Ararat league, with Moonambel falling just short of making it a clean sweep for the local sides.
Bealiba, looking to bounce back from a loss the previous week, began the round with a Friday night game against Amphitheatre-Elmhurst.
Darren Mortlock owned the court in all three of his sets, with his formidable net game seeing him to wins in all three of his sets 8-1, 8-5, 8-3.
With some regular players missing due to injury, Ruby Rothman and Michael Columbro were both drafted in to the Bealiba cause, finishing the night with two wins apiece.
The Bealiba women were also back in form, with Bethany Fitzpatrick and Alix Ford opening up with an 8-1 smashing of Sally Roberts and Jayne Briody, before Ashleigh Ross added her talent to the mix, taking the remaining sets 8-6 with Bethany and 8-5 with Alix.
With a healthy lead, Bealiba cruised comfortably through the mixed sets, blowing the final winning margin out to 32 games.
On Saturday, Lawn Green notched its second consecutive win at the expense of Ararat, running out winners by 19 games.
