Clunes and Maryborough will both hit the road this Saturday to take part in the highlight game of the round.
After Clunes’ top of the table clash with Laanecoorie Dunolly was washed out last weekend, the Pies will be eager to meet with the Owls this Saturday.
The game was previously fixtured at Bull Millgate Oval in Clunes, but it has been moved to the Carisbrook Recreation Reserve as rain is almost guaranteed for the Ballarat area.
This clash is highly anticipated with Clunes currently undefeated and Maryborough the strongest opposition it will have faced yet this season.
So far, the Owls have defeated Beaufort and more recently Avoca, a side that came within 10 runs of the Magpies in round one.
Maryborough was highly restrictive against the Bulldogs, bowling the side all out in 25 overs and needing just its openers to take the win in its reply.
