The Cleveland Cavaliers were missing a massive leader on court last month in Maryborough product Matthew Dellavedova, who’s absence was explained when he introduced his first child, Anders Ralph Dellavedova, to the world via social media.
Dellavedova and wife Anna Schroeder announced they were expecting a boy several months ago and now Delly fever has quickly turned to baby fever online, with a picture of Anders laying on his dad’s chest posted on November 7 receiving more than 14,000 likes on Twitter.
Dellavedova played five games for the Cavs before baby duty ensued and returned to the court earlier this month for a 13-point win over the Washington Wizards.
Dellavedova played 11 minutes with three rebounds, one assist and seven points in that time in his first game back.
