WDEA Works going in to bat for MDCA

MDCA treasurer Terry Sharp and WDEA Works employee and Colts Phelans cricketer Dayne Baker seal the deal with a handshake, locking in WDEAʼs sponsorship of the association for the current cricket season.

The Maryborough and District Cricket Association (MDCA) announced last week that WDEA Works have chosen to remain on board as the naming rights sponsor for season 2019/20.

After supporting the association last season, employment agency WDEA Works has recommitted for the current season and MDCA treasurer, Terry Sharp said it is a “major boost” for local cricket.

“WDEA Works is once again an excellent fit for the MDCA with the three men based in the Mary- borough office all having links to the three Maryborough based cricket clubs of Marybrough, MKM and Colts Phelans,” he said.

“In times when we have found major sponsors difficult to source, this commitment from WDEA Works comes as a major boost to the competition.”
