Talbot’s Swap with the Lot is back and better than ever, with the event expected to draw over 300 stall holders from Victoria and beyond next weekend.
Celebrating 18 years, the swap meet is jointly run by the Maryborough District Historical Vehicle Club (MDHVC) and Talbot Today and Tomorrow and Swap with the Lot committee treasurer Greg McNeilly said it has been growing steadily.
“The swap meet has been growing steadily every year, last year we exceeded 300 stalls and we’re expecting that again this year,” he said.
“We’ve had enquiries from the Barossa Valley, Gippsland and into New South Wales so people are travelling a long way for it.
“We’ve sold in excess of 270 sites already so there’ll be a lot to see and a lot of temptations put in front of collectors.”
The event will be held at the Talbot Recreation Reserve next Sunday, October 27. Gates are open from 7 am and admission is $5 per person.
