Dellavedova’s debut book lands on local shelves

Local kids are running to the Maryborough Regional Library to get their hands on a copy of NBA star, Matthew Dellavedovaʼs first ever book which is based in Maryborough.

Delly fever has hit the Maryborough Regional Library, with copies of Matthew Dellavedova’s first book flying off the shelves.

The book titled Team Tryouts follows a young Dellavedova and his journey playing with the Mary- borough Blazers, making it all the more exciting for local readers.

Born and raised in Maryborough, Dellavedova has played NBA basketball since 2013 and currently plays with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Australian Boomers.

Maryborough Regional Library’s Bec Clark said the book has proven so popular that they’ve had to get extra copies in.

“We’re very excited to have Delly’s debut junior novel on our shelves. It’s been so popular, we’re ordering in extra copies to keep up with the demand,” she said.
