Beaufort to battle with undefeated Laane in round four

Laanecoorie Dunollyʼs Zac Graham will be hoping for the same success that he saw in round two against Colts, this weekend against Beaufort.

Beaufort will face its biggest task yet since joining A grade this weekend, coming up against an undefeated and dominant Laanecoorie Dunolly.

Laane trumps the top of the A grade one-day ladder with three from three wins and a clear percentage advantage over all others.

Having made 697 runs in three games, almost 200 more than any other side, and having bowled every opponent it has played all out with 30 wickets to show for it — Laane has quickly established itself as a force to be reckoned with.

The Crows have played one less game this season and currently sit on a 1-1 win-loss record.

After finishing in second place on last season’s A reserve one-day ladder and fourth on the two-day, Beaufort made the decision to recruit well over the winter and enter back into A grade for the first time since 2013/14 this season.
