Lexton will have to reach unprecedented heights this Sunday to stand in the way of Natte Bealiba and a ticket into the grand final.
While the Tigers have put up some memorable performances this season including a 12-game no loss period and a successful 61-point semi final win over Newstead at the weekend, to defeat the Swans will be a massive task.
Natte has battled all the way through another season with the goal to have another crack at the flag after a tragic loss last year.
A 72-point grand final defeat to Carisbrook hangs fresh in the minds of the majority of Natte players who returned for another go at it this season.
For some of the team’s more experienced members, the sweet taste of premiership success in 2011 also lingers as encouragement.
This journey will make it incredibly hard for anyone to stand in the way of Natte and another grand final appearance.
