Intereach has opened the doors to its new office in Maryborough after working out of a temporary space for more than two years.
Originally operating at the Goldfields Employment and Learning Centre, Intereach is now providing services at its new High Street location.
Intereach works to improve the social and personal wellbeing of children, families, older people, carers and people with a disability, and community engagement and capacity development senior manager Erin Smith said it’s great to finally have an office in Maryborough.
“We’ve been operating in the area since May 2017 which has helped us understand the community and how we can better support the local area,” she said.
“Opening an office in Maryborough shows our commitment to the town and that we’re here to work alongside the community to help meet their needs.”
Intereach is the National Disability Insurance Scheme partner in the community delivering early childhood intervention, local area coordination and the newly established Intereach Community Links program which will support people in the community to link and understand what services are available in the area.
