Thinking about tanks, pipes and troughs in the approach to summer? Then attend the upcoming farm water planning workshop in Natte Yallock.
Happening on August 30, Agriculture Victoria regional manager Belinda Pritchard said the workshop is for people who are planning a reticulation system to bolster their farm water supplies and ensure the correct flow rate arrives where it is needed.
Ms Pritchard said the workshop will cover a number of aspects related to farm water planning, including understanding farm water requirements — how much
water might be needed for your property, the process involved in locating main storage tanks, troughs and pipelines, basic reticulation principles including head pressure and pipe friction and the process and next steps in developing a detailed reticulation design.
The workshop is taking place at the Natte Yallock Recreation Reserve, Reserve Road, Natte Yallock on Friday, August 30.
Registrations are from 9.15 am for a prompt 9.30 am start. Workshops are expected to be completed by 12.30 pm.
