Roos and Eagles go head-to-head

Jade Richardon passes for Newstead at the weekend. The Kangaroos now face Dunolly in a tough battle ahead of finals.

The last home and away round should offer a close battle for Newstead and Dunolly, which will be the best preparation heading into finals.

As the eighth and seventh ranked sides in the competition, both the Eagles and the Kangaroos head into finals with just one chance to get it right.

Both teams are set to face some massive obstacles over the next few weeks and this weekend offers the chance to get one over a close opposition and boost morale.

The ladder cannot be changed by either a win or a loss with Stead out in front by six premiership points and Dunolly firmly in eighth due to percentage.
