Maryborough took a massive statement win over Kyneton in round seven and the Pies will back themselves this weekend in their second meeting.
The 38-point win over the Tigers earlier this season broke a four-year long precedent which saw the Magpies claim a maximum of one win per year since 2015.
Another massive hurdle lays ahead against Kyneton this weekend, in that if Maryborough wins, it will have claimed the most amount of wins in one season since 2011.
The Pies currently sit on five wins, the standing win record for the side for the last eight seasons.
But to topple Kyneton will be no easy feat, especially away from home.
The last time the Pies and the Tigers did battle, both sides kicked more behinds than goals and luckily for Maryborough, it had more shots to waste.
