After a crushing defeat last weekend, Maryborough will have to take on Sandhurst with vigor in an attempt to maintain its newly founded reputation.
Maryborough currently sits in sixth place on the ladder, just one place lower than fifth placed Sandhurst, but this weekend is unlikely to be as evenly-matched as the ladder would suggest.
The first time the two side’s met in round four, Sandhurst claimed a relatively easy 45-point win just one week after the Pies challenged the reigning premiers, Eaglehawk with a 16-point thriller.
The biggest difference between round three and round four was the absence of star forward Stewart Crameri.
Unfortunately for the Magpies, Crameri is unavailable for this encounter as well meaning it could be a repeat result if the Dragons get a run on.
