Woolworths Maryborough now has an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to help in emergency situations.
The AED was installed late last month and is part of a Woolworths program that ensures rural and regional communities, or areas where it may be hard to access immediate medical help, receive the device.
Woolworths Maryborough store
manager, Danny Hughes said the AED is not just for customers, but anyone within the community.
“It’s not just a Woolies thing, it’s a community thing. We are pleased to have a defibrillator installed in our store which everyone can have access to,” he said.
The device is located inside the right entrance door of the store, directly in front of BWS.
