Former AFL player Barry Hall puts on an 11-goal show for Harcourt home crowd

AFL legend Barry Hall pulled on the Harcourt jumper for the sideʼs clash with Navarre on Saturday. Grasshopper Riley Bibby tries his hardest to outmark Hall, but the big man pulled the ball in with ease and
went on to slot one of his 11 goals for the day.

An 11-goal haul from former AFL star Barry Hall helped Harcourt to a massive 140-point defeat of Navarre on Saturday.

Hall put on a show for the very big crowd that attended the Harcourt Recreation Reserve with 18 shots on goal for the game, delivering 11 goals and seven behinds.

Hall missed a number of set shots, but appeared to feel more comfortable shooting at goals on the run or snapping them over his shoulder.

With the Lions having the ball in their forward half for the majority of play in the third quarter, Hall kicked five goals for the term and kicked his tenth goal of the game with a left foot snap just before the siren for the last change.

He started the last term sitting on the bench receiving medical attention from the trainer, and entered the field seven minutes down.

Hall was happy to share the goals around from then on out, with Zac Denahy, Matt Giri and Jordan Gartside picking up the reins to slot eight goals between them in the final term.
